This is a vintage ceramic wall plate made by Arol Keramiek in Norway in the 1960s.
The images on the plate are inspired by Norse mythology, Viking art, and rock carvings (petroglyphs) from Scandinavia.
Handmade and beautifully decorated in relief.
Decor: A white glossy glazed background into which green characters and symbols have been drawn.
An inspiring piece from bygone years.
Bottom mark: Arol handmade Norway 312 35 with an attachment for a hanging wire.
Dimensions: 33 x 4.5 cm
