Jakob Schwaderlapp founded Jasba in Ransbach - Baumbach in 1926. The main designer in the 1950s was Cilli Wörsdörfer. Her successor in the 1960s was Christiane Reuter, into the 1970. The company discontinued production of art ceramics around 1975 to concentrate on the production of tiles, which are still produced today.
